Who are Lyric?

Lyric's logo says that Action is Eloquence. Lyric is not about adding an undeserved gloss to reputations.

It's about helping organisations to communicate the best they possibly can with the people around them - who they affect and are affected by.

It's about using communication to make a difference:

  • have an informed conversation with regulatory or political decision-makers.
  • let local communities know what you're planning, if it's going to affect them.
  • get feedback on your proposals, and improve them, so they're fit for purpose.

Gill Kirk founded Lyric in 2005, after more than 10 years working in public affairs, campaigning and strategic communications. She was previously Head of Public Affairs at BAA Heathrow, Director of Campaigns and Media at RNID (Royal National Insitute for Deaf people) and a public affairs consultant.

Before Lyric, Gill successfully campaigned for the fast-tracking of benefits for people with Motor Neurone Disease, secured the removal of VAT from the shelf-price of continence pads and was responsible for Heathrow Airport's relationships with the communities affected by the airport's operations
